| Mssrs Garland, Lewis, Lawson, Watts, Tomkins and Handscombe secured a notable victory on 28 June in the county Jock Stewart knockout event to secure a semi-final slot. This followed a 3-1 win over Menzies in the Cambridge Friendly League the previous day by Mssrs Patterson, Black, Clifton, Chamberlain, Redgewell, Jackson, Reilly and Borham SCAGC is the Society of Cambridge Area Golf Captains - we are very pleased to note that when Heydon recently hosted their Millennium Trophy, Phil Black waltzed off with the top prize with 42 pts - go Phil | |||
