Our active Ladies section meets at the club every Wednesday and Saturday and has a full program of friendly and competitive 9 hole and 18 hole events as well as matches against other clubs.  In addition, Ladies participate in the club's singles and doubles mixed events

Linda Williams, Margaret Bell and Sally Harris won the Strethall Ladies Winter League - ably assisted by Wendy Osborne subbing for Sally in the final round

The Medal & Trophy Winners comp was played in near perfect conditions with Amanda Flowers winning on count-back from Sally Harris with Gloria Carse in 3rd Place, all with net 71.  The Longest Drive was also won by Amanda Flowers; the Nearest the Pin by Gloria Carse, with Jean Black winning the best Front 9 and Sally Harris winning the best Back 9 on count-back from Linda Williams.

On 27th July our Ladies beat Chesfield Downs 4-0 - well done

Wendy Osborne won the June Trophy with 40 pts from Fran Hawken with 39 pts.  Fran won the best par 5 score and Carol Miller had the best record on Par 3s

Carol Miller won the PIAB Trophy in appalling weather conditions clocking up 37 stableford points, 8 clear of Fran Hawken.  Nearest the Pin was Daphne Borham and the Longest Drive was Helen Leigh's

Amanda Flowers won the Broadley Bowl on countback from Kersti Llewellyn-Beard in a hard fought battle of bogey golf!  Nearest the Pin was Helen Leigh and Longest Drive was Wendy Osborne

Spring Trophy: Carol Miller romped home with an amazing 44 point win and a 4 shot handicap cut - runner up Gloria Carse with 36 points
