V-C Shoot-Out

£150 was raised for the Heydon Grange Captain’s charity from the inaugural Vice Captain’s Shoot-out.  In a thrilling climax which resulted in Lee Williamson and Ray Hasler finishing all square on the 9^th Green, both players had to return to the 100 yard marker for a deciding play-off.  With the prospect of returning back to the 100 yard marker looming again, Lee Williamson (pictured left below) sunk a 30 foot downhill putt to secure the win.   Special thanks went to Densley Charles and Jeremy Newson who stood in at the last minute to ensure that the teams were complete.
