In the Division 1 Heydon Masters competition, Kevin Power and Paul Crawford both shot net 70s then net 75s to go into a four-hole shoot-out. Tied after three holes, Kevin then put his ball in the water at the Essex 4th to let Paul (pictured below on the left) take the title with a par-3. In joint 3rd were Paul Chamberlain (last years winner) and Bruce Kempton on net 147s. Full report and all player scores to follow.

Meanwhile in the Division 2 Three Counties Plate, Steve Miller (pictured below right) won with 41 pts followed by Barry Carter on 38 pts and Paul Scott on 37 pts
