Club Championship

Ian Brushett (left) returned to winning ways in the Men's Club Championship with rounds of 78 and 76 - nine shots clear of the nearest challenger Altus Laubscher making his debut in the Heydon event. However, the round of the event must surely go to David Jolley who shot 91 (net 79) on the first day but stormed back with 75 (net 63) on the second to take the net title on countback from Tony Leigh. Playing off 12, David's 75 was the lowest gross score of any competitor over the two rounds!

Operating a new cut system, the initial field of 42 was slimmed to 30 for the second round. With a system allowing the top half of the gross and net fields through OR anyone within 10 shots of gross or net leader, anyone with gross of 92 or below or a net of 81 of below made it through.
