With four birdies between them, the winter pairs winners of Tina Broadley and Malcolm Knobel-Forbes where unable to resist the challenge of Roz McKenzie and Mark Kierstan in the final of the Mixed Summer Pairs at Heydon Grange.  The deciding factor of this closely fought game, when the difference between the pairs never extended beyond one hole, was the imperious putting of Roz McKenzie who found the cup from all distances. The competition was decided on the 18th hole when Malcolm Knobel-Forbes just missed matching Mark Kierstan’s par putt to take the game to the 19th after both ladies had found the water.
