The course stroke indexes have been up-dated to reflect changes in relative hole difficulty using competition records on the handicap system.  Please note however, that hole difficulty is not the only concern when changing stroke indexes.  To ensure fairness in match-play situations, there are specific CONGU guidelines as to how stroke indexes may be allocated (eg not starting or ending a round on a very low index, not have two very low index holes adjacent).  The existing and new stroke indexes are shown in the table below.
